Ruth Kadiri Debunks Death Rumours, Says ‘I Am Alive and Safe’
Nollywood actress and filmmaker Ruth Kadiri has dismissed reports claiming she has died, assuring her fans that she is alive, safe and was not involved in any accident.
Kadiri addressed the false reports on Sunday after the rumour circulated widely on social media, sparking concern among her followers.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, the actress urged the public to disregard the reports and report social media accounts spreading the false information.
“Please note that I am alive. I did not have any accident, and I am safe,” she said.
Kadiri expressed concern over the number of social media accounts allegedly created to circulate the rumour. She appealed to her followers to report such pages instead of engaging with their posts.
She described the situation as distressing, questioning why some people would go to such lengths to spread false reports about another person’s death.
“I am alive!! Please help me report. Please, I’m begging you, help me report it!!”
The actress added that the situation was becoming “tiring and sad” and appealed to those behind the reports to leave her alone.
Kadiri’s clarification comes amid the continued spread of false death rumours involving celebrities and other public figures across social media platforms.
