No Legitimate SHS Placement “Protocol” Requires Payment — Dr Clement Apaak

Deputy Education Minister Dr Clement Apaak has cautioned parents and guardians against paying money to individuals who claim to have access to a special or “protocol” channel for securing Senior High School (SHS) placement.
According to Dr Apaak, there is no legitimate SHS placement protocol that requires parents or guardians to make payments to secure placement for their children.
He urged the public to be wary of individuals who demand money under the pretext of using their influence to facilitate school placements.
The Deputy Education Minister’s comments come amid concerns over alleged attempts by some individuals to exploit parents during the SHS placement process.
Dr Apaak stressed that parents should follow the official placement procedures and avoid dealing with people who promise guaranteed placements in exchange for money.
He further encouraged anyone who encounters such demands to report them to the appropriate authorities for investigation.
